Fetal Radiology is an exciting, rapidly evolving niche area of Radiology that integrates Preventive, Clinical and Interventional Radiology. Technological advances in Radiology have led to the development of individualized risk algorithms that help Fetal Radiologists predict the risk of adverse outcomes in pregnancy. The quality of Fetal Radiology care depends on the technical skills to obtain reliable, precise images, interpretative skills that help to determine the most optimal interpretations of the image and appropriate paths for further testing and care, and communicative skills to share the results with the patient and their family and a multidisciplinary childcare team for optimal outcomes. In this fellowship program, we aim to provide a firm grounding on the basic principles of Fetal Radiology that can help learners adapt seamlessly to newer developments in this niche area.
